Read this before you order. Zula Athletics does not hold stock. Every garment is a pre-order, cut and printed for you after the drop window closes. Nothing ships the day you buy it, and the wait is measured in weeks, not days.
How a Zula drop works
A new drop opens every Friday. From the moment it opens, you have two weeks to pre-order. When that window closes, we send the full run to production, which takes two more weeks. Then it ships.
The full timeline, start to finish
- Weeks 1–2 — Pre-order window open. You place your order and your card is charged at checkout. Nothing is being made yet.
- Window closes. Ordering shuts off for that drop. We count the run and send it to production.
- Weeks 3–4 — In production. Garments are printed and finished. You will not see tracking during this stage.
- End of week 4 — Ships. You get a shipping confirmation with tracking the moment it leaves.
- Plus transit time to your address after that.
Plan on roughly four weeks from the day the window closes — up to about six weeks if you order on the first day it opens. If you need something for a specific date, order with that math in mind.
Current drop — Drop 1
| Pre-order opens | Friday, August 7, 2026 |
| Pre-order closes | Friday, August 21, 2026 |
| Ships by | Friday, September 4, 2026 |
| Estimated arrival | September 7–9, 2026 |
Each product page lists the exact dates for the drop that item belongs to. If a piece you want is not in the current drop, it will come back around in a later one.
Why we do it this way
Made-to-order means no warehouse full of guesses and no leftover inventory in sizes nobody wanted. It also means we can print heavyweight garments properly instead of rushing a run to keep shelves full. The tradeoff is the wait, and we would rather be blunt about it than surprise you after checkout.
Before you place a pre-order
- Check the size chart on the product page. Your garment is made for you after the window closes, so size changes are not always possible once production starts. Measure a shirt you already own and compare.
- Confirm your shipping address is complete and correct. Addresses are much harder to change once a run is in production.
- Expect your card to be charged at checkout, not when the item ships.
- Do not order for a hard deadline inside the next four weeks.
Tracking your pre-order
You will not receive tracking until your drop finishes production and is handed to the carrier. If your order is still inside its pre-order or production window, everything is on schedule and there is nothing to track yet. We email a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as it ships.
If something changes
If a run is delayed, we will email everyone in that drop with the revised ship date rather than letting you wonder. Timelines above are targets, not guarantees, and production can shift during high-volume releases.
